Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)

As a senior DevOps Engineer at HolidayPirates you will be responsible for site reliability and development and maintenance of our cloud based infrastructure.
DUTIES ON DECK
  • Take full ownership of our cloud infrastructure on AWS and be responsible for site reliability.
  • Along with the Development team, monitor and optimise external infrastructure products like Cloudflare, Cloudinary, Contentful, Firebase and Iterable.
  • Maintain and develop CI/CD using Jenkins, Bitbucket or Gitlab.
  • Maintain and optimise web servers/proxies like HAProxy and Nginx
  •  Manage system and infrastructure orchestration using puppet and Terraform.
  •  Simplify and continuously improve the reliability, stability, and performance of the infrastructure.
YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE
  • You have 5+ years of experience in the industry and at least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Very good understanding and professional working experience with the AWS ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating system concepts
  • Good understanding of containerisation and hands on experience with Docker and ECS
  • Experience in managing infrastructure-as-code, preferably using Terraform.
  • Experience in CI/CD using Jenkins, bitbucket and/or Gitlab.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet.
  • Pragmatism, sense of responsibility, and independent work stye
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English
