Permanent employee, Full-time · Remote, Hybrid

AHOY MATE!
At HolidayPirates, we make travel dreams come true by connecting millions of users across Europe with the best travel deals. Our market teams are central to this - their insights help us understand local dynamics, harmonize our processes, and unlock new commercial opportunities.

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Global Partners & Revenue Steering. This is a Head level role, that reports to CEO, placing you at the forefront of driving our commercial success. You will be responsible for harmonizing and optimizing our revenue-generating functions and processes across all established international markets (DACH, ES, IT, FR, NL, Poland, US) while spearheading our strategy for Growth Markets.

This pivotal position requires a unique blend of strategic leadership, hands-on operational management, and exceptional communication skills to ensure consistent, sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence. You will act as a central force, ensuring consistency in how we manage our global revenue pipeline, interact with our largest partners, and implement our pricing strategies. You will be a trusted advisor to the C-suite and a key partner to all local market heads.
DUTIES ON DECK
Global Revenue Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global revenue strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Define and establish a global pricing model and strategy, including the allocation of revenue targets and contribution percentages from Key Account Management versus other channels.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer behavior studies across all markets to inform pricing, product, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and maintain accurate revenue forecasting models, identifying potential shortfalls in the media pipeline and proactively addressing them with market and C-suite leadership.
Growth Market Development & Monetization:
  • Identify and analyze core operational and commercial problems in designated Growth Markets, working closely with local teams to develop and execute targeted solutions.
  • Define and implement market-appropriate monetization strategies for Growth Markets, determining the most effective ways to operate, drive user value, and generate sustainable revenue in new territories.
  • Serve as the strategic mentor and partner to local Market Leads in Growth Markets, actively helping them develop into strong Market Leaders who can autonomously execute the global strategy and drive local success.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure early-stage market operations are scalable, legally compliant, and aligned with the global platform and product vision.
Operational Harmonization & Data Integrity:
  • Lead the administration and harmonization of our project management/CRM tool (e.g., Monday.com) to ensure consistent data input and reporting across all markets.
  • Audit current Key Account Management (KAM) practices and establish standardized procedures to improve data reliability and accuracy of reported numbers.
  • Work cross-functionally with local teams to implement and enforce new operational processes, providing training and support to ensure seamless adoption.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of standardized dashboards and KPIs to provide a single source of truth for all revenue-related metrics.
Global Partner Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all major global partners and new leads, ensuring a consistent tone, contract terms, and commercial conditions.
  • Lead and negotiate global contracts and agreements with key partners, establishing a centralized framework that local teams can follow.
  • Coordinate with local KAMs to ensure the successful execution of global strategies and to address any market-specific needs or challenges.
  • Develop long-term strategic partnerships with clients, identifying opportunities for expansion, upselling, and cross-selling across markets.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advisor to all market heads, helping them understand and execute the global revenue strategy.
  • Present regular, data-driven reports and insights to the C-suite, highlighting performance, challenges, and strategic opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to align efforts and ensure that all departments are working cohesively toward shared revenue goals.
  • Mentor and guide your direct report, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a strategic revenue management, revenue operations, or a senior-level Key Account Management role, preferably within a social media, digital marketing, online travel or technology company with a global footprint.
  • Demonstrated experience in a "Head of" or similar leadership position, with a proven track record of influencing stakeholders and driving change without extensive direct reporting lines.
  • Deep expertise in revenue modeling, pricing strategy, and data analysis. Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and CRM/project management systems (e.g., Monday.com, Salesforce, HubSpot) is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow global or enterprise-level accounts. Experience negotiating complex contracts and building long-term, strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial and operational data to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
  • A strong understanding of the social marketing landscape, including the media pipeline, client acquisition funnels, and monetization strategies.
  • Strategic, forward-thinking, and detail-oriented. You must be able to see the big picture while also diving into the operational details to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Fluency in English. Additional language skills, particularly in the markets we operate in (e.g., German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish), are highly valued.
